From my home studio on the edge of the Cotswolds, here in beautiful Gloucestershire, I find myself surrounded by an endless supply of inspirational landscapes and I’m particularly drawn to the vivid colours and the play of light within our natural habitats.
Since attending Art School in Bristol in the late nineties, I’ve largely been self-taught and much of my work has utilised graphite and ink mediums, but in recent years I’ve primarily worked in acrylics, exhibiting and selling original pieces and numerous runs of limited edition prints.
Over the last few years I’ve been commissioned for both corporate and private projects, most notably on several illustrative campaigns for the coffee shop chain, Coffee#1. These included a range of limited edition prints, cards and accessories from my ‘Towns by the Ton’ series, as well as exclusive designs for their food packaging and a series of four different take-out cups, designed to fit their distinct brand identity.
Personally, my most significant project to date was trying to capture some of the memorable scenes and moments we were experiencing during the Covid pandemic lockdowns. It was very special to conclude this unique and significant period of our lives with a solo exhibition, featuring all 114 paintings and entitled, Lockdown: Finding The Light.
All of my originals and prints that are currently available can be found in the various gallery pages below. Thank you for visiting.
