Sanctuary Remembered (Spring)

At the end of this project I was reflecting on how important this clump of pines on Wotton Hill had been to me and how many times I had studied it and painted it throughout the pandemic.   It seemed fitting to finish this series by painting my ‘sanctuary’ from memory, remembering it in all it’s glory, in each of the four seasons in which I had enjoyed it and relied upon it.
